Pipes
Pipe – a cylindrical or shaped product, hollow inside, having a longer length compared to the cross section. They are made of stainless steel and other metals and alloys, organic materials (polymers) and other structural materials. As a rule, they are used to transport various media. Stainless seamless pipes are produced by rolling an ingot on special equipment that creates a hole in the center. Seamless pipes are used where increased strength and reliability are needed (for example, for gas and liquids under pressure, in the oil and gas industry, etc.). Copper pipes are seamless due to technology. Pipes are internally cleaned from oil and grease. The pipes are easy to weld, due to the low content of hydrocarbons (< 2mg/m2). They have internal electro polishing. Polymer pipes are most often obtained by extrusion (extrusion). The material is poured either into a mold with a central core or into a rapidly rotating hollow mold. Legris polymer pipes (nylon, teflon, fluoroplastic, polyethylene, PVC) have good corrosion resistance and can be used for especially clean, chemically active media, food purposes. Supplied in coils of 10, 15, 100 meters.
