Electrochemically polished pipes made of 316L steel have an internal surface roughness Ra from 0.13 to 1.0 µm and an external surface roughness from 0.13 to 8.0 µm, depending on the brand of the pipe. Polished pipes are used in the microelectronic, pharmaceutical, biotechnological, food industries, in analytics, and in high vacuum systems. Pipes are delivered in the form of 6 m pieces in sealed packaging. Pipes are recommended to be installed using orbital welding, VCR or pipe fittings.
